IWAN SIMONIS AND ARAMITH RENEW SPONSORSHIP WITH THERESE KLOMPENHOUWER

The Dutch 3-cushion Champion who celebrates this month the 20th anniversary of her first official title will continue to partner with the World’s leading billiard cloth and ball brands.

Therèse Klompenhouwer is not an ordinary athlete in the very elitist world of Carom. At 21 years-old, she claimed her first professional title at the Dutch women 3-Cushion championship in Hoeven without losing a single game. Thanks to that win, she qualified for the European Championship 3 months later and won it to be crowned European Champion. She became Vice World Champion the year after.

KLOMPENHOUWER

Twenty years after her first official title, TK, also named “The Queen” by her fans and opponents, has claimed 35 other official titles and 23 tournament wins. The one who will celebrate her 42nd birthday in a few weeks is already a 5-time World Champion and an inspiration for a whole generation in her sport and beyond.
It is a great pride for Iwan Simonis and Aramith to continue this kind of partnerships with athletes like Therèse Klompenhouwer who make the History and the Legend of their sport.

Therèse Klompenhouwer: “I am really pleased to renew my contract with Aramith and Simonis. Because of our partnership I am able to practice on the best cloth, with the best billiard balls. It improves my game and that’s one of the reasons why I can remain performing at the highest level. I feel proud to be part of this great team and I am looking forward to many more years of collaboration.”

Jérôme Poncelet (Group Commercial Director): “We couldn’t be happier to count Therèse Klompenhouwer among our Group of athletes.
