The World’s leading billiard ball and cloth manufacturers will be the official and exclusive suppliers to the UMB and to the CEB, providing players with the ultimate equipment and supporting the sport’s global development ambitions.
In any billiard sports, the quality of the equipment has a direct impact on the playing experience, the players’ performances and the ability to continually set up new records. As for sports organisations, the equipment they choose to provide to their players also has a great incidence on the credibility and prestige of their events and on the international exposure it brings to the sport.
Aramith and Iwan Simonis have signed 4-year partnerships as official and exclusive ball and cloth suppliers to the Union Mondiale de Billard (UMB) and the Confédération Européenne de Billard (CEB), its affiliated European governing body for Carom billiards. Players will then benefit from the most consistent and reliable equipment.
The renewal of these historic partnerships, which had been running for more than 30 years, also reaffirms the commitments of the UMB to developing the sport worldwide, and of the CEB as the biggest and most influential continental sports organisation to strengthen Carom in Europe.
The UMB and CEB events will be played with the Super Aramith Pro-Cup Prestige ball set on the Simonis 330 Rapide cloth.
